‘Endless Love’ trailer finds Alex Pettyfer and Gabriella Wilde caught up in a whirlwind romance

Endless Love is an upcoming romance drama movie directed by Shana Feste. It is the remake of the 1981 movie of the same name. It stars Alex Pettyfer and Gabriella Wilde in the lead role.

The new trailer for Universal Pictures’ Endless Love remake sets up the classic story of rich girl meets boy from the wrong side of the tracks. Magic Mike’s Alex Pettyfer and newcomer Gabriella Wilde (who can be seen in the upcoming remake of Carrie) play the film’s star-crossed lovers obliviously caught up in a steamy coming-of-age romance.

Things take a turn for the dramatic when Wilde’s on screen father (played by Star Trek’s Bruce Greenwood) gets wind of their relationship, begins uncovering Pettyfer’s dark past, and tries to stop his daughter’s whirlwind relationship.

The upcoming Hollywood remake of ‘Endless Love’ won’t hit theaters until Valentine’s Day 2014, but the movie already has a trailer featuring a haunting cover of the 1986 Robert Palmer hit ‘Addicted to Love’ by Skylar Grey.

The original ‘Endless Love’ from 1981 starred Brooke Shields and Martin Hewitt, with Tom Cruise making an appearance in his first movie role. The remake features Alex Pettyfer and Gabriella Wilde in the story of young lovers who encounter a series of obstacles. The trailer presents various scenes from the film, with Grey’s cover giving the teaser an eerie, dramatic tone.

Comic Con: “Who’s I, Frankenstein?”

This one could be fascinating. Aaron Eckhart plays Frankenstein’s creature (here renamed Adam), who comes to be made up for lost time in a conflict clash between two interminable guards engaging for predominance over the Earth. With Bill Nighy allegedly playing one of Satan’s unique dim blessed messengers and Miranda Otto as ‘the ruler of the beasts’, this resembles Milton meets ‘Underworld’, with a compelling dash of Gothic repulsiveness. It could be alarming (recall ‘Van Helsing’ or ‘Legion’?) or it could be truly awesome. It is possible that way, want basins of CGI and loads of yelling. Director Stuart Beattie is the Australian helmer behind 2010’s semi-successful youngster acting piece ‘Tomorrow, When the War Began’, however he’s likely best known for co-composing the definitive ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ script.

‘Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit’ Global Trailer: An Action-Packed Franchise Reboot

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit is an upcoming action thriller movie based on the character of Jack Ryan. It is the fifth movie in the Jack Ryan series and also a reboot to the previous movies. The film stars Chris Pine.

With over a decade gone by since Ben Affleck played CIA analyst Jack Ryan in ‘The Sum of All Fears’, the time is ripe once more to bring one of Tom Clancy’s best-known characters back to the big screen for the start of a franchise. Kicking things off again in Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit is Chris Pine, fresh off the successful summer release of Star Trek Into the Darkness and ready to take on the role that’s previously been played not only by Affleck, but also by Harrison Ford and Alec Baldwin.

A global trailer for Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit has just launched ahead of the film’s December release. It’s disappointingly similar to the first trailer that we saw earlier this month, featuring a lot of the same clips, but there’s enough new material in there to be worth watching for fans of Clancy’s work and of previous Jack Ryan movies like ‘The Hunt for Red October’ and ‘Patriot Games’.

The desk job of a CIA analyst wouldn’t look all that exciting in a trailer, so before too long Jack goes from analyst to operator and is embroiled in an international scheme involving exploding helicopters, motorcycle chases, exploding buildings, shootouts and even more explosions. The main plot involves the two go-to action movie threats, terrorists and Russians, with the lead Russian terrorist played by director Kenneth Branagh.

The film is scheduled to be released on January 17, 2014.

New ‘Ride Along’ Trailer Features More Action & More Kevin Hart

Ride Along is an upcoming action comedy movie starring Kevin HartJohn LeguizamoIce CubeBruce McGillBryan Callen and Tika Sumpter.

In Ride Along, Hart plays a high school security guard named Ben who, in order to be granted permission to marry his love, Angela (Tika Sumpter), must first earn the respect of her disapproving older brother, James (Ice Cube), a seasoned Atlanta Police Department detective. However, even after Ben finally gets accepted to the academy, James challenges him to one final test: a 24-hour “ride along” through the roughest parts of Atlanta.

We got our first look at the film a few months back, via a teaser trailer, but got a peek at more of the movie this week with the release of its official theatrical trailer. Check it out below. While many of the teaser’s highlights – including the shotgun bit – are included in this extended clip, the new trailer offers up more glimpses of the film’s action and of Hart’s performance. Based on the plot synopsis alone, we knew the ride along would go awry, but after seeing plenty of gunplay, street fights and exploding buildings, we have a real sense of just how much trouble Ben gets into when he enters Atlanta’s criminal underworld.

For fans of Hart’s comedy, the funniest scenes in the trailer will likely be ones in which he attempts to act as a tough guy. Since much of his best stand-up material is based around jokes about his size and the concept of manliness our culture often associates with fighting and aggression, these scenes and the film in general seem to play to Hart’s strengths as a comic performer. The scene in which he gets punked by the little kid is perhaps the best addition from the original teaser. However, for any buddy cop comedy to truly work, the two leads need to play well off each other. While it’s too early to tell if that’s the case here, things are certainly set up for some hilarious interplay. We’ll just have to wait and see if Hart and Cube’s chemistry produces enough laughs and box office dollars to warrant the sequel that Universal reportedly already has in the works. Directed by Tim Story (Think Like a Man), Ride Along also stars John Leguizamo (Kick-Ass 2), comedian Bryan Callen (The Hangover), and Bruce McGill (Rizzoli & Isles).
